Festival Fever Blog Tour: Day One

Festival Fever Blog Tour: Day One

I hope you all are ready.  Because this is going to be an ah-may-zing week of style.  I reached out to some bloggers and put together a kick-butt line-up of blogging sewists to dream up G+G creations around one central theme: Festival Fever.

From parties and celebrations to community events and concerts, to simple weekend walks through the farmer's market, it's summer time and the livin' is easy.  These ladies created their best G+G looks to celebrate the summer season.

So how does a blog tour work? It's easy! Stop by George + Ginger each day this week to check out who sewed what.  Travel from blog to blog to read about each blogger's creations, modifications, and inspirations.  And make sure to check out the G+G Facebook page for that day's blog tour giveaway!

Sooooo, without further ado, here are today's bloggers!

Kelly from Bellephant modified the Rave Shirt to give it a vintage vibe. The fig print was a hit at the local farmer's markets she hit up this weekend!  She completed the outfit with a Riot Skirt (some buttons provide the perfect finishing touch!).  Read more about Kelly's sweet and saucy look on her blog

Wild + Wanderful's Katy sewed up the Sassy Side.Top and Dress.  I'm crazy about her fabric pairing- what a fun match up! And it was perfect for a her trip downtown to the Arts and Culture Fest.  Head over to her blog to read more!

Amber from Confessions of the Pink Obsessed wore a Capsule Tunic (retired pattern alert!) to the Pasadena Chalk Festival this weekend.  She slimmed it down and used a poly jersey t-shirt fabric to create her version of the perfect relaxed T-shirt dress.  Check out her blog to read more!

Libby from Our Play Palace put together a cute and casual outfit perfect for attending food festivals.  She used the Heat Wave Hot Pants and the Batty Tunic- read more about it here

An at Diskordia's Curvy Sewing  got festive with the newly revamped Swagger Sweater! This neon orange print was a throwback to what she would have worn to go out on the weekends in the 90's. Read all about how An got her swagger on over at Diskordia's Curvy Sewing!

That's all for today--make sure to stop by each day and catch up with all the amazing creations! We have 24 bloggers on board, and I'm so excited to share them all with you!

Caught the fever? Check out all the amazing looks in the Festival Fever line up!
